Gender-based violence is a global problem that particularly affects women and people who do not conform to traditional gender roles. They experience discrimination and violence, exacerbated by neoliberal and right-wing extremist movements.

Empowerment_LAB provides a space for artistic expression, collective learning, and mutual empowerment to address these challenges. Feminism plays a central role in this by promoting equality and opposing patriarchal structures. The project promotes empowerment as a means of social change and combines theoretical and practical elements to value diversity and respect individual experiences.

From September 8 to 12, the team of artists from La Fuchsia Kollektiva and other invited Stuttgart artists will explore the question: Which performative formats are suitable for Travertinpark? In doing so, they will engage with the location, its actors, and its history.
